Daniel Catota
Field Co-ordinator in Sigchos (Ecuador)

Daniel is in charge of co-ordinating the development work that our foundation carries out in Sigchos, Ecuador. His functions include supporting and guiding the community associations of the region to promote local development through self-sustained productive activities, and providing technical support to local projects to improve their productive capacities and to optimize their raw materials. Daniel also searches for strategic alliances to support CEF’s commitment to the economic and social development of the region.

Daniel is an Agroindustrial Engineer with several years of experience in food production processes, quality control in production lines, and design of productive projects with environmental-friendly activities.

He is fully committed to the task of finding and encouraging young entrepreneurs to lead their communities and developing Sigchos as a reference for co-operative local development in Ecuador and Latin America.
