Bookkeeping and Financial management
Brad is in charge of administrative tasks related to project funding, staff payrolls, invoices and maintaining a balance of accounts for our Foundation.
He has a background in both economics & finance, having worked in the public sector and non-profit space. He worked for seven years at the City of Calgary in the IT & Finance departments. More recently he has worked as the Finance & Office Manager of the BC Co-operative Association. His interest in Community Economic Development stems from working a decade in the Co-operative Sector in British Columbia, with experts like our own Executive Director John Restakis, as well as for organizations such as CCA/CMC BC.
Brad holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary, as well as an Economics Degree from Simon Fraser University. He is an avid cyclist and lives in a Housing Co-operative in Vancouver.
